During the summer, 2007, I photographed two gliding competitions. My thanks to everyone, Pilots, Crews and Helpers who cheerfully cooperated every time I pointed my cameras in their direction.
In July 2007 I photographed the BGA Standard Class National Gliding Championship. A busy time covering the personalities and action - rigging, grids, launches and finishes, as well as providing slide shows and daily updates of photographs for the competition website.

During August 2007 I photographed the famous Wolds Gliding Club Two Seater Competition which attracts two seater gliders from the latest 25 metre Ash to veterans such as the Slingsby Capstan. A unique attraction was the presence of four Capstans this year, especially as I am told there are only a handful of airworthy Capstans in the UK.
